Quick Answer: All 20 Whisky Bottles
Twenty Whisky Bottles hide across the campaign's missions. Collecting the first pays But a Dram, collecting all 20 pays Full Barrel and unlocks the game's secret 32nd suit โ the only suit that neither story progress nor the Deluxe edition can give you. Bottles also feed your Adaptation level: PowerPyx's math says all 20 bottles plus 10 of 14 Nightmare Doors is enough to max Adaptation at level 10 (Secondary Mutations trophy).
| Milestone | Bottles | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| First bottle | 1 / 20 | But a Dram trophy |
| Adaptation max | ~15 / 20 (with 10 Nightmare Doors) | Secondary Mutations trophy |
| Every bottle | 20 / 20 | Full Barrel trophy + secret suit |
How to Hunt Them
Three tools make the bottle hunt nearly automatic: the Whisky Finder Adaptation (range), the collectible shader (Settings > Visuals โ outlines every interactable) and mission replay from the Nightmare Cabin (nothing is missable). Like crates, bottles are placed along and just off the story path โ a shader-on first playthrough naturally banks most of them.
- Whisky Finder Adaptation โ bottle radar at range and through walls.
- Collectible shader โ visual outline in your chosen color.
- Nightmare Cabin mission replay โ per-mission checklist of what is missing.
What Adaptations Get You
The Adaptation system (unlocked after the first Nightmare Gate in Homecoming) is the game's utility layer: finder senses, traversal and combat conveniences that levels up from Nightmare Doors and whisky bottles. Maxing it at level 10 is a trophy (Secondary Mutations) and a genuine quality-of-life win for the cleanup phase โ finders make everything else faster.
