Omega Red - Character Guide

Omega Red — Arkady Rossovich, the Soviet-era nightmare with carbonadium tentacles — is the first named boss of the campaign, falling at the end of Mission: Last Meal (the Omega Dead trophy is the second story trophy in the list). He is the game's first real check that you have internalized parries and dodge timing rather than mashing attacks.

As the opening boss, Omega Red sets the template for Wolverine's duels: big telegraphs, a phase transition, and a hard punish window after his tentacle sweeps. If he is walling you on higher difficulties, the answer is almost always spacing — bait the sweep, punish the recovery — not damage.
